Summer Camp Interns Needed

Updated: Apr 12

Camp Encounter is a 6-week day camp that serves as one of the primary summer outreach ministries of Clarkston International Bible Church. The vision of Camp Encounter is to make Jesus known in our predominantly refugee community. At Camp Encounter, an average of 100 campers a day from around the world encounter our faithful God as they learn about the Gospel. Children from kindergarten through 8th grade engage in art, music, academics, and sports in a safe and loving environment. It’s fun, crazy, exhausting, and life changing. If you love kids, camp ministry, the nations, and the Gospel, you will love Camp Encounter.

As an intern, you will lead or assist with different age groups and/or the art, academic, music, or sports track. You will participate in home visits, community outreaches, and you will live and serve within the community along with other interns.

June 1 – June 3 – Summer Staff Orientation

June 6 – June 24 – Summer Camp & Outreach

June 26 – July 1 – No Summer Camp (flexible schedule for interns)

July 4 – July 22 – Summer Camp & Outreach
