God's Word Personalized.
I AM
I AM Your Teacher. I AM your God who counsels you to do well in life and instructs you on the direction you should go.
17 This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.
Isaiah 48:17
You Are
You are Rooted in My Word. You are blessed because you do not go along with the evil, you do not hang out with those who live in their sin or those who make fun of My ways. But you delight in My Word and meditate on it day and night. You are like a tree planted by a stream, which produces much goodness. You prosper in what I have for you. I Love You!
1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.
Psalm 1:1-3
I Give
I give My Word. My word lights your path just ahead of you. Don’t forget about My Word. Instead, mediate on it regularly so you can follow My instruction. If you do, I will make you prosperous and successful.
105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. 8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Psalm 119:105; Joshua 1:8
You Have
You Have My Word. My Word is alive and active. It gets to the point, touches your spirit, and addresses the concerns of your heart and mind. My Spirit teaches you and reminds you of all that Jesus taught.
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Hebrews 4:12; John 14:26
Reflect. At what moments has the Bible been your guide? The Bible is not magic. But there is something spiritual about it; it is supernatural. The Bible connects us to the spiritual world and to God and His ways. The Holy Spirit guides us through His Word. As you read and mediate on the Bible, God will guide, transform, and reveal what He has for you.
Declare Truth and Give Thanks. Father, your Word and your Spirit are living and active for my life today. Thank you for giving your Word and your Spirit to light my path and guide My life.
