I AM
I AM Eternal. Before I created anything or spoke the world into existence, I AM. I AM the everlasting God. I AM the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. I AM before all things and I hold all things together.
Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Psalm 90:2; Revelation 22:13; Colossians 1:17
You Are
You are Alive. Because of My great love for you, and because I am rich in mercy, I have made you alive in Jesus, though you were once dead in your sins. My grace has saved you and I raised you up just as I raised Jesus from the dead. You now have a place with Jesus in heaven.
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:4-6
I Give
I Give Eternal Life. Even though sin brings death, I gave my Son to cover your sin and give you eternal life. I gave my Son because I love you. You believe in Jesus so you will never die, but you will have a perpetual, ongoing, eternal life.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Romans 6:23; John 3:16
You Have
You have Aliveness. Through faith, you not only die with Jesus, but you also live with Him! Jesus was raised from the dead giving Him victory over sin and death. He lives for Me. Now, you also are dead to sin but alive to Me in Jesus. I Love You!
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Romans 6:8-11
Reflect. What does it mean to be fully alive? Being full of love, joy and peace is a good start. So, some days you may not feel alive. Fortunately, truth is not a feeling. The Bible reveals the truth: if you believe in Jesus, you are risen with Him and you are alive to the new, abundant life that Jesus offered to you through the cross and resurrection. It is the life that you received as a free gift by faith and you continue to live out daily by faith. You are alive!
Declare Truth and Give Thanks. I am risen with Jesus because Jesus died on the cross and rose again, and because I have placed my faith in Him. Thank you, Father, for your mercy and making me alive with Jesus. Thank you that you have given me eternal life.
